Well we are slowly getting things done to prepare for deputation. We are waiting for approval on our prayer card and prayer letter that will be going out to all of our friends and family. We had our picture done on Easter Sunday at church by Arnie Kelley while were all dressed up (enjoy the pictures cause it’s one of the few times you will see Art in a suit). We have decided to take a bit of a different approach for deputation instead of speaking at lots of churches. We are going to attempt to gain our support by having friends host small home groups of 10 or so people they know to gain both prayer and financial support. So if you are willing to help just drop me a line and let me know. We are planning to travel to Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, Maine, Ohio, Connecticut and possibly New Jersey (hint, hint Scott and Min). We are hopping we can do all the heading South in one shot then all the Northern ones in one shot that way we can cut down on the amount of driving that Art will have to do as I can’t drive his car, it’s a standard and I am not coordinated enough to do it .

Once our prayer letter and Card are approved I will post them here so those of you that we may not have thought of (sorry if we do forget you thinking of a mailing list is not as easy as one would think). Let us know what you think.

We are also waiting for some nice weather (ha ha ha) so that we can finish getting the yard fixed from making it a mess this last fall so we can get the house on the market, be praying that it will sell quickly so that we can save as much money as possible. We will be looking for some place to live as cheaply as possible (hopefully less than $500 per month) so we can afford to pay for all the expenses related to heading into the mission field.
