As most of you know we left for the Creation Museum on September 21st at midnight.  We arrived in KY about 2 hours before the museum opened and were thrilled when they allowed us in to sit in the parking lot till they opened so we could rest for a while.  When other people started arriving we got out and walked around the Botanical Gardens.  They opened up the museum an hour early and let everyone in.  The museum was great I would suggest going there if you can.  Make sure you see all of the media presentations some of them are very powerfull as well as very well done.  If you click the link to the left you can see some pics they aren’t well labeled yet but I will get to that when we get home.

After leaving the museum it was back in the car for 19 more hours of driving.

On the weekend of August 17th we were able to travel to Long Island NY and visit Margaret Harvey.  We had a wonderful time.  She was able to host a small home group for us to share what we are going to be doing and then we were able to share briefly with her Church on Sunday morning about how we will be helping Joe and Becky Harvey. Two wonderful women from her church handed us a total of $230 cash!!  This is a huge gift for us.  The trip cost us $131 and we had the whole amount covered, and then some.  And Mrs. Harvey is supporting us too!!!!  If you check out our picture link to the right you can see some pics of Michael and Margaret’s grandkids at the beach. 

We are getting ready for MTI, we leave in 2 weeks.  The Lord provided the rest of the money to go through side jobs for both Art and I.  We were also given free passes to go to the Creation Museum in KY.  We are very excited about the whole trip.  We will be leaving on September 21st at midnight and will head right to KY and arrive in time for the museum to open.  We will spend the day Saturday there and then head to Bridgeton MO were we will be staying over night.  We will be attending Calvary Chapel of St. Louis County then heading CO.  That will be a long drive, like 20 hours or so. 

Last night our church agreed to support us so that is a huge help.  Every little bit we get puts us closer to being in the field.  We still hope to leave before the end of the year. 

Dr. Joe & Becky and crew went back to Congo on August 14th.  While we miss them I am glad they are back doing God’s work in the Congo.  There have been a few logistical things to take care of for them from here but things seems to be ironing themselves out. 

As always please keep us in your prayers.  Our house is still on the market, but we are having an open house on Sunday so we hope to get something from that.  We still are in need of financial and prayer support.  Anyone who wants to be part of our mission support team please get your reply cards in so you stay part of the mailing list.  The list will be revised soon, so if there hasn’t been a card sent make sure to do so.  Pray for traveling mercies we will be spending most of the next 2 months on the road.
